program, the linker is indicating that you have more than 64KB of near data (static data elements, global variables, and so on) in your data (DGROUP) segment. You can remedy this situation in a few ways: Eliminate some of your global variables.Decrease your program's stack size.Use dynamic memory allocation techniques to dynamically allocate data elements instead of defining them as static or global.Declare data elements specifically as far rather than near. Eliminating some of your global variables will probably require some rework on your part as to the inherent design of your program, but it will be worth it when all is said and done. Global variables by nature tend to be somewhat of a maintenance nightmare and should be used only when absolutely necessary. If you have allocated a lot of space to be used as stack space, you might want to experiment with lowering the stack spacesize to see whether you can gain memory that way. If you are using a lot of static data in your program, tryto think of a way you could possibly rework your static data and allocate it dynamically rather than statically. This technique will free up the near heap and enable you to allocate data from the far heap instead (see FAQ XVIII.15 for a discussion on near and far heap space). Don't use large global arrays (malloc them or declere them explicit as far, I think this will move http://www.verycomputer.com/5_6f708b88c4d529c3_1.htm them to their own segment, and stop your program from running multiple instances). in Notes too big; maximum; limit; max; Notes; Messaging & Mail; Workstation Mail (Mailer); Wkstn Based Mail Issues; 64kb; group document; members field; summary text fields; Field is too large (32K) or View's column and selection formulas are too large Technote (troubleshooting) Problem The Group document's Members field is a Summary Text list. There is a limitation to the size of Summary text fields, which currently stands at: Notes Releases 6.x, 7.x, 8.x: 32K per field, ~61K (64K minus overhead) of summary information per document Notes Release 4.x, 5.x: 15K per field, ~61K (64K minus overhead) of summary information per document Some problems may result when mailing to Groups that have exceeded this size. These problems are discussed in the Known Issues with a Group Document's Member Field That is Too Large section below. Known Error Messages When Adding to the Group Document Even though there are safeguards to prevent this field from becoming too large in the first place, here are some possible error messages that you may see in various releases of Notes: In Notes 6.x, 7.x, and 8.x, adding members results in the following error message: "Field is too large (32K) or View's column and selection formulas are too large." In Notes 4.5x, 4.6x, and 5.x adding members results in the following error message: "Field 'Members' contains too many characters (723 or 15360 maximum). Field will be saved but will not be displayed in views." ...where 'Members' is the text field name in the Group document (but can be any offending field name) and the "723 over 15360 maximum" indicates the current number of characters over the maximum. The document can still be saved, but may result in the SendTo field's contents getting removed when sending mail to a group of this size (see below). Eventually, adding more and more members results in the following error message and you are not able to save the document: "Paragraph or field cannot be larger than 64K bytes." In Notes 4.0 and 4.1x, adding members results in one of the following error messages: "Adding entry will cause text list to exceed 64k. Entry not added." -or- "Group too large, can't create anymore users" Known Issues with a Group Document's Member Field that Is Too Large In some cases, it has been observed that when the Members field exceeds the R^ and above 32k limit, that no error message is returned at all. Instead, either some mem

A Windows error is an error that happens when an unexpected condition occurs or when a desired operation has failed. When you have an error in Windows, it may be critical and cause your programs to freeze and crash or it may be seemingly harmless yet annoying.
A stop error screen or bug check screen, commonly called a blue screen of death (also known as a BSoD, bluescreen), is caused by a fatal system error and is the error screen displayed by the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems upon encountering a critical error, of a non-recoverable nature, that causes the system to "crash".
One of the biggest causes of DLL's becoming corrupt/damaged is the practice of constantly installing and uninstalling programs. This often means that DLL's will get overwritten by newer versions when a new program is installed, for example. This causes problems for those applications and programs that still need the old version to operate. Thus, the program begins to malfunction and crash.
Computer hanging or freezing occurs when either a program or the whole system ceases to respond to inputs. In the most commonly encountered scenario, a program freezes and all windows belonging to the frozen program become static. Almost always, the only way to recover from a system freeze is to reboot the machine, usually by power cycling with an on/off or reset button.
Once your computer has been infected with a virus, it's no longer the same. After removing it with your anti-virus software, you're often left with lingering side-effects. Technically, your computer might no longer be infected, but that doesn't mean it's error-free. Even simply removing a virus can actually harm your system.
Reimage repairs and replaces all critical Windows system files needed to run and restart correctly, without harming your user data. Reimage also restores compromised system settings and registry values to their default Microsoft settings. You may always return your system to its pre-repair condition.
Reimage patented technology, is the only PC Repair program of its kind that actually reverses the damage done to your operating system. The online database is comprised of over 25,000,000 updated essential components that will replace any damaged or missing file on a Windows operating system with a healthy version of the file so that your PC's performance, stability & security will be restored and even improve. The repair will deactivate then quarantine all Malware found then remove virus damage. All System Files, DLLs, and Registry Keys that have been corrupted or damaged will be replaced with new healthy files from our continuously updated online database.
